For schools, we work on a “Zero Cost to the Budget” basis, whether disadvantaged (see below)*, privileged or otherwise.
In general, the booking fee is R5500, payable to BrainFocus Centre. This is the minimum fee for the evening. Additional costs for travel will be added, for distances in excess of 20 km from our offices in Sandton.
The school, then, becomes responsible for promoting the evening with your community. BrainFocus Centre will provide promotional materials and links to assist with this. Guests are, of course, welcome.
We supply numbered tickets.
Early Bird Tickets should be sold for a recommended minimum of R100. Tickets at the door are suggested at R120. The School is responsible for all ticket sales and collecting all monies. The balance of the unsold tickets are to be returned at the end of the evening.
The number of tickets returned vs sold will calculated. Only sales in excess of R5500 will be invoiced.
In addition, for all proceeds in excess of R5500, BrainFocus Centre will give a 10% donation back to the school 2 weeks after the final payment is made. We will pay this into your account and request that a Tax Receipt for the donation be provided by the school.
125 people come to the talk at a ticket price of R100/ticket. We send you an invoice for R12 500 less the R5500 booking fee for a total residual fee of R7000, that the school has collected by way of ticket sales. Once our accounting is done, we send you R700.
Our target is to have at least 100 people in attendance from across the community.
*For schools where money is an issue, you can contact us, so that we can create a strategy that will make the make a presentation possible.
